Weather, cancellations & refunds
The short version: you never lose your money to the weather, and cancelling a week or more out costs nothing.
- We cancel for unsafe weather → your choice: free reschedule to any open date, or a 100% refund, deposit included.
- You cancel 7+ days before your event → full refund, including your deposit.
- You cancel inside 7 days → your deposit becomes a rain-check credit good for 12 months; anything you've paid beyond the deposit is refunded.
If the weather turns unsafe
Bounce houses and bad weather don’t mix. If rain would make the unit unsafe, or sustained winds are expected to reach 15 mph (the operating guidance in ASTM F2374, the safety standard for inflatable amusement devices), we won’t set up. Full stop.
When the forecast for your date looks unsafe, we’ll contact you ahead of your event to talk it through. If we have to cancel, you choose:
- Free reschedule. Move your whole booking to any open date. No fees, no repricing games.
- 100% refund. Everything back, deposit included.
And one promise about wind we’d rather over-communicate: if sustained winds pick up to 15 mph during your party, the bounce house comes down, even mid-cake. Everyone out, blower off. It’s the one rule we won’t bend for anyone.
If you need to cancel
7 or more days before your event: full refund, including your deposit. Plans change. No hard feelings.
Inside 7 days: your deposit converts to a rain-check credit you can put toward any open date within 12 months. If your balance has already been charged (that happens automatically 7 days before your event), the balance portion is refunded. Only the deposit converts to credit.
How refunds work
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, processed through Stripe (our payment provider). We initiate them as soon as the cancellation is confirmed; how quickly the money posts depends on your bank.
